In this document, the CIA reports that elements in the Chilean government are attempting to locate and assassinate major leftist leaders in Europe. It also describes a meeting on 3 August 1974 by the Chief of the Naval Mission to London, Raúl López, with 23 Chilean Naval Reserve officers residing in Europe, in which they were ordered to maintain a watch on Chilean leftists in their respective European countries and report any anti-junta activities to López in London.
