This is a memorandum relating to a CIA-State Department meeting that occurred on 27 August 1976 in which Assistant Secretary for Latin America, Harry Shlaudeman, participated. According to the document, Shlaudeman said that making representations concerning Operation Condor to Pinochet would be futile. Most of the document is redacted.
