This CIA Intelligence Information Cable discusses two meetings of Condor member countries: one in Santiago, between May 31 and June 2, 1976, and the other in Buenos Aires on July 2, 1976. One of the subjects discussed in the Buenos Aires meeting was the mounting of operations in France against terrorist organisations. Teams would be sent as part of Operation Condor to operate in France to liquidate top-level terrorist leaders. The cable also notes that Chile and Argentina are ready to move ahead on these operations in France, but Uruguay's security service does not yet have the funds to dispatch two officers to Paris.
