GRISUR was a social organisation formed by Uruguayan exiles in Europe during the country's civic–military dictatorship (1973-1985). It was founded in 1973 in Geneva, Switzerland, where it was based and operated at least until 1982. The organisation was responsible for the publication “Informaciones” aimed at the solidarity committees for Uruguay that operated in Europe. It appeared every 10, 15, or sometimes up to 30 days, and its editors-in-charge were, at different times, Mario Jaunarena, Javier Gallardo, and Guillermo Waksman.
