This is a publication by the Authentic Peronism Party, which disseminated information about political repression and state violence in Argentina. In this 12-page issue, the article on page 4 stands out: it is the second part of a journalistic report on the Triple A, denouncing the massacres in Córdoba and Tucumán, the murder of students and Latin American exiles, and the repressive coordination with neighbouring dictatorships.
The text reveals the systematic persecution of grassroots activists and political asylum seekers, and how parastatal terrorism was integrated into the official apparatus. It discloses a secret coordination meeting of the Argentine Federal Police (held between February 27 and March 4, 1974) with representatives from Uruguay, Chile, and Bolivia, during which the Uruguayan representative, Inspector General Castiglioni, proposed placing permanent officials in critical areas along the Argentine coast to identify persecuted individuals—anticipating the mechanisms that would later be formalized under Operation Condor.
The issue was found during an investigation by journalist Roger Rodríguez, who obtained it from the Centre for Documentation and Research of Leftist Culture (CeDInCI) in Argentina and used it as a source in his work. His research was published in various outlets and has been incorporated into the investigations regarding Operation Condor at the Crimes Against Humanity Prosecutor’s Office in Uruguay and the Operation Condor trial in Italy.
Roger Rodríguez has granted us access to the publication, which is now freely available, along with links to his research, which can be read at:
